The Absteige is only a 9-minute walk away from the city center and is surrounded by beautiful mountains. 13 ski areas, numerous toboggan runs, cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails and the cultural program of the city of Innsbruck make a very varied holiday in the snow possible.
13 skiing areas and Innsbruck right in the middle. You are guaranteed to find the right slope for your skills here! The two local mountains, Nordkette and Patscherkofel, can be reached within a short bus ride and the bus stops practically at the doorstep of the Absteige. A free ski bus takes you to the remaining 11 areas, which you can explore effortlessly with a Ski plus City Pass.
From the Absteige you can easily explore Innsbruck by foot. The old town as well as numerous museums, bars, restaurants and cafes are in immediate vicinity. You can also go on a shopping spree in the city center.

If you’re not that fond of skis or a snowboard, you might as well have fun in the snow on your terms. Beautiful winter hiking trails, toboggan runs, cross-country skiing trails and ice rinks as well as an ice toboggan run await you in the area around Innsbruck. The possibilities are endless and promise a lot of fun and good winter mood!
When your limbs demand relaxation, you are in good hands in the saunas and thermal baths of Innsbruck and its surroundings. We can particularly recommend the steam bath at Salurner Straße, the panorama sauna in Amraser Straße, the Aquadome in the Ötztal and the Stubay in the Stubai Valley.
You can choose between the single room Schnapsidee and the apartment Farbtopf (max. 7 people) or Fettnäpfchen (max. 4 people). The apartments are spread over 2 buildings and in the neighborhood (Riedz Apartments) you can do your laundry, relax in the green and stock up on delicacies.
